Another week done. I have to say I am really looking forward to a weekend with NO plans. Do you ever like to go into a weekend plan-free?

If you want to plan something, be sure to enter to win a Mara’s Pasta gift box! The giveaway ends on Monday and you don’t want to miss out on your chance to win 3-pounds of artisan pasta.

Without further ado, here are this week’s Breakout Bites:

I Finished Couch-to-5K, What’s Next? | From Couch to Iron Woman

After you run your first race you may ask yourself “now what?” With the help of Jamie’s post you won’t have to wonder what to do next! She shares 5 suggestions of fitness ideas that are loaded with great resources to keep you from going back to the couch after you complete your first 5K. I like that she tossed in a few ideas that aren’t running related for those of us who like to mix it up!

5 Quick #Fitfluential Resources for your Everyday | A Gutsy Girl

As you all know I am a member of the Fitfluential community and one of the perks is reading the endless amazing material from the fellow members of the healthy lifestyle blog world. Sarah did a round-up of 5 quick and simple exercises you can do on the go from other Fitfluential friends. Anything with the words quick and simple in it are a dream for BSW so, of course, I loved this post and all of the ideas Sarah shared.

Things That Make You go Hmmmm… | Sprint 2 the Table

Laura’s post on odd but yummy food pairings is exactly what the #PairYourEats challenge is all about! From sweet potatoes paired with vanilla to eggs mixed with peanut butter, her food choices definitely make you go “hmmm” and then “yum!” I definitely want to try the tilapia dish with kiwi and tequila. Interesting choices to add to your menu board if you want to be daring! The next food pairing blog link up is on October 1st. Play along.

Fit Gear I Love for Running | Fit Mom in Training

There is a fashionista in every fit loving person. How can you not be? With hundreds of colors of shoes and stores like LuLu Lemon, fitness fashion trends are just as big of a deal as New York Fashion Week. Well, almost. I love this list of must-have fitness gear from Stephanie because I think some of them should be staples in your fitness closet (like quality running shoes and workout clothes), but there are some fitness accessories that could benefit your fit life that may not be in your workout wardrobe yet. But they should be! Ever thought about compression socks? I also appreciate that she named specific brands to test out so you don’t have to wander through Dick’s Sporting Goods like a lost puppy.

Spiritual Pillar: Chaarg Challenge | E&E: Chaarg

Elisabeth and Emily (aka the Chaarg Girls) have been discussing the 9 Pillars of Wellness which is geared towards keeping students healthy and well-rounded. This week they put the focus on spiritual wellness. Often spirituality has people thinking about religion, but there is spiritual side of health and wellness too. The Chaarg girls encourage taking one hour to reflect on how you will lead a healthier lifestyle by journaling or talking it out with friends and family. How you approach life can make a difference in how you approach your health.

BSW has been as busy as ever. Take a look at some posts from the week in case you missed them!
