5 Foodie Indulgences Before the Mayan Apocalypse

Last Meal Before the Mayan Apocalypse

Normally this time of the year we wouldn’t be encouraging full-blown indulgent feasting, but since the world is about to end we figured now is the time to make your taste buds dance.

We got to thinking about what our last meal would be if this whole Mayan theory is true (dark, we know) and it was too hard to decide on one delicious item. Instead we created a whole menu of indulgent favorites that will appeal to the comfort food lover, the decadent food seeker and the guiltiest of sweet tooth pleasures. And don’t worry, a calorie-laden cocktail to wash it all down.

So, shall we get on with this hypothetical feast? We apologize in advance for any drool puddles that land on your keyboard.

Drink Me

Normally white wine is our liquid jam, but in the name of the 2012 Apocalypse we want to indulge in a cocktail fit for a queen.

  1. Oh man what a question!
There’d be a buffet of bread and butter, as well as tortilla chips and salsa to start.
    Some wine and a sazerac…
Then some sort cheese-y goodness, in the enchilada vein.
    A side of Indian okra.
And dessert would be an giant bowl if ice cream with cookie dough and peanut butter and reddi whip as toppings, and a bar of chocolate to dip into it. That’s actually happened, heehee…
