With New Year’s Eve just around the corner wine is probably in your future, but where it should be is on your face. The benefits of a glass of red wine don’t stop at heart health.
A red wine face mask is the perfect way to enjoy the bottom of that marvelous Merlot and save yourself the hangover.
Red wine is a highly underused skin care ingredient. Beyond getting a glowing complexion, red wine can keep your skin healthy with the high levels of antioxidants it contains. It also fights free radicals, stimulates blood circulation and increases elasticity of your skin. Wine facials are especially useful for oily or acne prone skin because it detoxifies your outer layer to protect you against the common skin complaint. These stimulating properties are useful for anti-aging—like reducing those wrinkles. Like we said, it is worth saving a glass for your face!

That is my kind of facial!
I have frozen wine in cubes to use for cooking later on with success, or if you have mushrooms, red wine is great to sauté them with!
Fabulous idea. Normally the end of the bottle gets dumped but not anymore!
