This is how we feel about today being Friday! How perfectly does Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off” fit in with the 1988 National Aerobic Championship routine? First and foremost, however, we owe thanks to the person who put this video together, Thomas Jung. It’s been around for a few months now, but people just can’t seem to get enough – and neither can we!
Whether you love her or hate her, you have to admit that she seems to really be in shape. So, what does T-swift do to stay fit, you ask? According to HealthyCeleb, she tries to get an hour of cardio in everyday whether it’s on the treadmill or elliptical machine. Although Taylor is naturally thin and perfectly stunning every time we see her on stage or the red carpet, believe it or not she loves to sweat. She believes the more you sweat, the more toxins are released from the body. She’s right! And it shows. At 5 feet 11 inches, her mile long legs are toned and ready to dance at any moment.
Taylor’s workout routine doesn’t include any weight lifting or any muscular exercise at all, her main goal is to improve her endurance on stage through tons of cardio. This makes sense due to long hours on stage both for rehearsal and the main performance – she starts her 1989 World Tour in Japan on May 5th.

T-swift is not only practical with her workouts but with her diet as well. She believes that skipping meals during the day will only leave you to overeat later. Again, she’s right. She loves to eat and tries to cook any chance she can get. Sugary drinks aren’t her thing and instead sticks to mostly water and skinny vanilla lattes to give her a boost. During her long weeks of recording, Taylor keeps it light and simple with salads, sandwiches and yogurt. But like any of us she takes the weekends to cheat a little on food like burgers, fries and cookies (that she bakes). Is there anything this girl can’t do?
Leave it to Taylor Swift to have it all down: diet, exercise and a pretty awesome lifestyle. Now, I don’t know many people personally (or any people at all actually) with that kind of life but if Taylor can stay in shape and eat healthy with her hectic schedule, we all can. Even if cardio isn’t your thing and you prefer to vary your workouts, you’ll get a good laugh and dance along with this aerobics video this weekend, anyways!
