We did it! We made it to the finale! And it’s live, from Los Angeles! We get the obligatory montage of the entire season and it’s filled with sweat, sweat, and more sweat. What have we learned from this season?
- Losing weight and getting fit is hard work, but it’s worth it.
- Eating right is just as important as exercise.
- Not everyone looks good with a spray tan.
But before we get started, we need to find out who America voted into the finals—Jackson or Joe. So bring them out and let’s have a look. Holy cow! How good does Jackson look?!? He’s wearing skinny jeans! And the extra cool thing is, he’s a youth counselor and says that since he started actually following the advice he’s been dishing out, the kids have been on board with eating healthy and exercising. Whoa! Joe looks incredible! Like, hot. And really, really happy.
And now, the envelope please. To nobody’s surprise, America chose Jackson as fourth finalist. Thanks for playing, Joe. You done good.
Throughout the show, Hostess Cupcake brings the television viewing audience the discarded remains of the eleven losing contestants so that they can weigh in for the chance to win $100,000. The first three players weigh in:
- Pam lost 71 lbs (29.96%)
- Nate dropped 99 lbs (27.58%)
- Alex shed 84 lbs (35.00%)
Alex is the current reigning queen on the losers, but let’s bring out some more!
- Francelina lost 95 lbs (35.58%)
- T.C. shed 110 lbs (29.26%)
- Michael dropped 136 lbs (30.68%)
- Cate lost 64 lbs (27.00)
Francelina takes the lead from Alex by a hair. Okay, we need more losers. Do we have more losers? Of course we do.
- Lisa dropped 108 lbs (43.90%)
- David lost 102 lbs (33.22%)
- Gina lost 113 lbs (46.12%)
- Joe shed 147 lbs (40.38%)
Crap, that means Gina wins a hundred grand. I mean, good for her, blah blah blah.
Okay, let’s check in on those three kids we keep hearing about and see how they’re doing because at least they’re more likable than Gina. Biingo looks totally cool. He shed gobs of weight and plays baseball and is doing all of the things kids do. Sunny looks pretty and happy and confident. Her life has completely changed for the better, plus she’s running 5Ks. Same with Lindsay, who is finally living her dream of being a cheerleader. They’re all athletes now, which is a massive transformation. Good for these kids.
So we’ve seen Jackson’s transformation, and now it’s time to see what the other finalists look like. Jeff started out gigantic and globular, and now he’s still got a very used-car-salesman look about him but he is so much smaller! He’s lost at least one whole person. Danni looked miserable to start, just really down. And no she just shines in a slinky little dress and arms that rival Jillian’s.
It’s time to weigh in the finalists and find out who wins the big prize.
- Jackson started out at 328 lbs, and now weighs 190 lbs. That is a loss of 138 lbs.
- Jeff began the season at a whopping 388 lbs (including two horrible moobs). He now weighs 207 lbs, for a total weight loss of 181 lbs.
- Danni started out at 258 lbs. She now weighs only 137 lbs, for a loss of 121 lbs and a win of $250,000 and the title of The Biggest Loser!
Congratulations to the Season 14 contestants, all of which are really big losers.
