Snack Attack with Attune Foods [+ Giveaway]

As you know I love my cereal and my graham crackers and milk (which is just an homage to cereal topped with plenty of childhood memories). But these breakfast-esque foods are really just a snack waiting to happen. Read: a bowl and spoon is not always needed to enjoy my morning favorites. I went a little crazy with my Attune Food delivery and created 3 fabulous Attune inspired snacky-snacks that I wanted to share with all of you!

A few things to know about Attune Foods:

  • All of the Attune products (from cereal to grahams to bars) are made of simple, pure ingredients that I can pronounce.
  • The products that should stay crispy even when swimming in milk (or my latest fascination of almond butter) hold up.
  • Label reading can be kept to a quick glance because Attune treats are packed with whole grains, fiber and natural sweetness so you don’t have to stress.

My ABC Graham Sammie

You guys, this treat rules. It is super easy to make and even easier to eat. (Is that possible?) Take a healthy spoonful of your ‘A’ (almond butter), smash in a half banana into the mix for your ‘B’ and bring it all together with a sprinkle of the ‘C’ by topping with cinnamon. Sandwich the mixture between two organic cinnamon grahams and you’ll have this new snack obsession:

Peanut Butter and Jelly Cereal Balls

One of my top food loves is peanut butter. I’m sure I am not alone in my feelings about this creamy masterpiece. And nothing goes better with PB than a helping of jelly, hence, PB & J cereal balls. This is a grab-and-go snack that is easy to make in bulk and they freeze just fine!

Here is how to make your very own balls:
In a small saucepan over medium heat mix in 1/3 cup honey, 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter, 1/3 cup of your favorite peanut butter. Stir until melted for about a minute or two. Remove the pot from the heat and add a couple spoonfuls of jelly (I used strawberry but any flavor will do) and a tablespoon of chia seeds. Mix in 1 cup of Erewhon’s Crispy Brown Rice, 1 cup of old-fashioned rolled oats and a half cup of Uncle Sam’s Original toasted wheat flakes. Then make your balls by scooping out about a tablespoon size of the mix and place them on a non-stick baking sheet. Refrigerate (or freeze!) for 15 minutes and voila! Crispy peanut butter and jelly! This would be equally delicious with a bit of dried fruit mixed in.

Simple Granola’d Pear

This is almost too pretty to eat. Halve a pear lengthwise and core the middle with a spoon. Top with your mixture of 2 tablespoons of honey, a 1/4 cup of Uncle Sam’s Honey Almond Cereal and an extra spoonful of chopped almonds. I noshed on this baby straight out of the fridge and also baked one for 15 minutes at 350°. Both scrumptious!

  1. Yea! How much fun is this, Talia. I am all about the fiber and have a thing about fruit in my cereal, plus I LOVE strawberries so my fave is Uncle Sam Strawberry Cereal. That looks amazing!

  2. You’re so AWESOME Talia! I want to save the entries for someone else, but I LOVE your first giveaway as it’s so important to recognize that eating whole foods is ideal but having just a bit of snack food around is better than depriving yourself and running out to grab a bag of unhealthy chips!
