Thank God It’s Friday! Also, I could not be happier that it’s snowing. Waking up to white blankets of snow covering the whole world (well everything outside my window) is the best “good morning” a girl could ask for. Snowed in? Not to worry, I’ve got the perfect snow day remedy for you! Today’s snow day edition of Dinner and a Movie features some classic movies to watch paired with brunch, lunch, and a warm treat for you to make on your day off! If you ask me, there’s nothing better than doing work from home, in your favorite pajamas (mine are zebra) with slippers, some tea, and no makeup while your favorite movies are playing in the background! Happy Snow Day everyone!

Spice up your morning with these delicious Bloody Mary’s (complete with bacon) and Breakfast At Tiffany’s. This sassy cocktail is perfect for a snowy morning of lounging on the couch and watching a timelessly classic movie. If you’re feeling really adventurous, make a full blown brunch of eggs benedict and cocktails. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the movie. Your day is already off to a great start!

Let the movie watching party continue! Curl up with Forrest Gump and a bowl of shrimp gumbo (just like Bubba would have made it). This delicious shrimp gumbo is easy to make and will keep you warm on this snowy afternoon. Forrest Gump is one of my all time favorite movies and pairs perfectly with this yummy soup.

Is there anything more perfect than chocolate cake and a mug full of hot chocolate? What if we combined the two? This easy to make hot chocolate pudding cake is decadent, warm, and delicious. Get cozy on the couch with your friends, family, loved ones, etc, and enjoy this fabulous dessert along with a fabulous movie. Love Actually is such a great snow day movie! I’ve seriously watched this movie on repeat before, it keeps getting better. What a perfect end to the perfect snow day!
That bacon looks like utter perfection in that Bloody Mary!!!! YUM!
I love Breakfast at Tiffany’s! Anything with Audrey, really…
