Daily Bite [Make]: Key Lime Pie Dip

Key Lime Pie Dip

You can’t say you have never thought about dipping into the glorious flavors of key lime pie. Especially when the heat is on. Nothing is more refreshing than fresh lime on a hot day. Can we all agree?

Hence our true excitement when we found a recipe for key lime pie dip from the (very smart) Amy at She Wears Many Hats. Amy describes the summery dip as “perky” and we couldn’t think of a better word. The citrus treat is a great way to indulge in the flavors you love—without the guilt.

And the best part is the recipe is SIMPLE. Mix all the ingredients together. Refrigerate. Dip.

Yup, we are in love.

Here are the ingredients you need:

  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (I used reduced fat)
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • ½ cup freshly squeezed lime juice (takes about 3 limes)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

And graham crackers to dip!

P.S. We think mixing in a little toasted coconut is not a bad idea.

Are you a key lime fan? Will you be making this dip?
