Finding vegan clothing and beauty products can sometimes be a hassle. It’s difficult to find stores that carry vegan products, and finding beauty supplies that are vegan only can be a nightmare. Recently, it’s been easier than ever to find vegan products because of a new found awareness for this market. Yay for people wanting to be cruelty-free in their fashion choices! We’ve put together a list of some vegan brands that are guaranteed to be 100 percent vegan, and promise that whatever you’re shopping for suits your vegan needs! From clothes to shoes to make up, these designers and brands promise to keep your vegan needs in mind.

This website is a vegan’s dream! They have women’s and men’s clothing and shoes, beauty products including hair, make up, and skin care, that are all 100 percent vegan. This website, which was voted 2013 Vegan of the Year from VegansAreCool.com in the Outstanding Vegan Business category, promises that all their products are vegan, and they carry fashionable leather alternatives and cruelty-free products. They also have weekly specials that are 15% off, and have some of the most reasonable prices out there for vegan products. 

2. Emani

Emani Vegan Cosmetics are paraben-free, cruelty-free, contain no chemicals, talc, or cheap fillers. Each product also comes in 100 percent recyclable paper packaging.  Chemical free make up means clearer skin, and that you’re taking care of your skin in the best way possible. Their tagline is ‘where green and glamour meet,’ and we couldn’t agree more!

3. Vaute

Vaute is where vegan meets couture. In 2009, the company started after its founder, Leanne Mai-ly Hilgart quit her modeling contract and her full ride to DePaul University to pursue her dream of starting a fashion line, while taking the cruelty to animals out of the equation. Her work eventually paid off, and in in February 2013, VAUTE broke history as the first all vegan label to show at New York Fashion Week.

Founded in New York in 2004, founder David Klasfeld wanted to develop products that would revolutionize the market, by making huge strides in color, texture and selection. Their lip tar is one of the most widely recognized products, and is always named a must have. The brand is internationally certified by PETA, and is proud to be vegan and cruelty free!

  1. I have a hard time with the vegan shoes thing! Thanks for the tips. If anyone knows where I can find ballet slippers without leather, I’d love to hear. I buy the canvas type, then I realized that ALL brands, even when made with canvas, seem to have a tiny amount of leather on the sole so as a dancer it has been a dilemma…

  2. When I clicked on this, I thought you were going to show me VEGAN FOOD brands. It’s funny to me to even think that makeup isn’t vegan, but I guess it’s true. And it’s sad to admit when I see leather jackets, I don’t even associate them with animals! I forget! That you for bringing awareness! I really just wear cotton and spandex though, the other thing that might be leather is my heels, but even then, they’re more than likely wedged!
