How do you tote around all your gym goods?
If you’re anything like me, you have been known to go straight from work to the gym or vice versa – which means only one thing: You carry all your sweaty gym clothes in your work bag. Hey, it’s big enough, so why not? Who wants to carry two bags around all day anyways, right?
Wrong! If you have invested in a nice carryall for work items including your laptop, papers, and other office-related items, it would be a shame to stink it up with sweaty laundry and scuffed sneakers. Luckily, I’ve changed my ways and you should too.

Rowve, a company that specializes in versatile yoga bags, happened to be the answer to our prayers. While anyone could, of course, find a basic tote bag for a few bucks and throw their garments in there without thinking twice, you would probably be left with not only sweaty workout gear, but also a sweat-stained bag.
Rowve features special laminate linings in order to prevent this, in addition to being a whole lot more stylish, eco-friendly, and also having a few extra special features! This was especially the case with the Rowve Go Anywhere Canvas Bag that I decided to try out for myself.
On a bright Sunday morning, I decided to test it out in the “real world”. I filled the bag with my yoga clothes, lock, water bottle, beauty products, yoga magazine and attached my mat to the front (thanks to the two side-release clips). While I usually carry my yoga mat on a sling, I found that this helped free up some space on my shoulders.
The bag was functional and easy. What do we mean by easy? There was no hassle with zippers, buttons, and other fancy things. Utilizing clips and velcro, you can spend as little time as possible in the locker room and more time preparing for your yoga class and/or workout.
In addition, the large pocket in the back of the bag was tremendously helpful. Once I changed out of my dampened yoga clothes, I was able to store them in there without having to worry whether it would seep into my wallet or onto my various yoga magazines that I like to keep on hand.

One thing to note, however, is that the yoga mat clips work best for thinner yoga mats, such as this Lulu Lemon Mat, Jade Mat, or a Gaiam Mat in a thickness of 3mm max. It’s not a real problem, seeing as how that is the standard thickness for most professional mats, but if you’re thinking about attaching a thicker variety, the weight of it will only feel bulky and slightly more awkward when placed horizontally. It’s not really a critique on the bag itself, but just plain physics.
