Kombucha is currently crushing the healthy drink market. Here’s why: Kombucha is a raw, fermented, probiotic tea that is naturally bubbly. Its main ingredients are water, tea, sugar, and a fermenting culture called SCOBY. While the tea’s ingredients are minimal, its health benefits are just the opposite.; kombucha is full of probiotics, antioxidants, vitamins, and amino acids, making it your digestive system’s best friend.

Chia Drinks

We’ve heard about chia seeds about a million times; the teeny tiny super food has dominated the health food scene as of late, as experts encourage people add them to their cereal, salads, and baked goods. We know that these little seeds are wellness warriors, but have you had them in a drink yet? Now you can, with Mamma Chia brand’s chia-based “vitality beverages”. The seed-filled drinks are slightly slimy, but they pack a hard-to-get nutritional punch: they’re vegan and gluten-free, lightly sweetened, and contain considerable amounts of antioxidants, minerals, and omega-3s, as well as protein and fiber. Flavors include coconut mango, blackberry hibiscus, and pomegranate mint. Yummy!

 Flavored Waters

We’ve certainly come a long way since the days of the once-trendy beverage, Vitamin Water. There are now endless flavored water varieties on the market, many of which are diet-friendly with a calorie count ringing in at, well, zero. One popular new brand is Hint Water, a zero-calorie essence water that adds a mere hint of flavor to your H2O. In other words, the taste is (fairly) subtle, but definitely there. Unlike the beverages above, this drink doesn’t necessarily offer health benefits, but if you’re looking for a sip of something sweet and low-cal, this is certainly a good option. Flavors include watermelon, crisp apple, blackberry, and blood orange.
