Runtastic Teams Up With MyFitnessPal For Week of Fitness and Healthy Habits

While we are not ones to push a specific plan on anyone – because (after all) humans are not robots and are not designed to live like them – we definitely think that many people who are first starting out in fitness and healthy living, could use a plan to simply guide them in the right direction.

Let’s face it, we all started somewhere and sometimes we have been misguided into believing that drastically cutting calories and hours upon hours of exercise is the way to a healthy, fit body. If you have gone down this path before, you will now know that it is entirely false and there are better ways to get a healthy, lean body that can also afford balance, abundance, and the perk of a shape we feel comfortable and agile in!

For Runtastic‘s 5th anniversary, they have teamed up with top calorie-counting app in the industry, MyFitnessPal for a “Week of Weight Loss“. Launching on October 5th and ending on October 12th, this 7-day event will provide those who would like to participate with exercises, health tips, and recipes to get you going in the right direction. In addition to the in-depth information, more blog content and updates will be posted on their tumblr at RunstasticWOW and can be accompanied by the hashtag #runtasticWOW, as well.

What we love most about this is that it is great for everyone – especially for those who are on the go and have limited time to workout. Some of the workouts are as short as 7 minutes. Can you believe it?! In addition, the recipes look delicious. Who can say no to burgers, pancakes, and enchiladas, anyways? This will teach you that you don’t have to be deprived to be happy and healthy. Sticking to whole foods and moving throughout the day may be just what you need.

When the week is over, you might be more motivated than ever to keep up with the workouts and healthy eating. Just remember that transformations take time, but it is always worth it in the end!
