Spring time is here and shorts season is just around the corner. Are your legs in short-wearing shape? If not, don’t worry- you’ve still got plenty of time to tone and tighten.
This week’s Music Monday workout is a leg workout incorporating a combination of static moves and aerobic exercises that will help your legs look leaner than ever! Squat, lunge, and jump your way to perfect skirt-ready legs. This workout is an awesome way to start your week off right and kickstart your Monday morning workout session. Pair this circuit with cardio or other weights and watch your body transform.
The song of the week is “So Young So High” by Dada Life. This song is perfect for warming up, running, lifting weights, or dancing in the shower! I love how upbeat and high energy this song is, it makes me want to get up and start my day! The combination of this song and this high intensity workout we have makes for a great early morning workout circuit. Don’t be afraid to break a sweat with this one – push yourself until your legs start burning and then push yourself a little more. By the time bathing suit season rolls around you’ll be ready to flaunt your new beach body. These lunges, squats, mountain climbers, and burpees will help tone and tighten your legs and your tush.
We think you should repeat the circuit at least three times to get a full, sweaty workout session. This is great, because the moves are simple, require no equipment, and can even be performed during your lunch break! This means that there’s no excuse for missing your morning workout or blaming your plummeting post-work energy levels to skipping it. Thirty minutes will be more than enough time to raise your heart rate! Just make sure to wipe the sweat off when you head back into the office!
