Some people hate Monday, some people hate leg day, and some people happen to hate both! Luckily for you guys I happen to love leg day! (Monday not so much) If it were up to me, everyday would be leg day. I tend to split my workouts by body part. For example, Day 1 is Back & Biceps, Day 2 is Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps, and Day 3 is Leg and Abs Day! Obviously, the third is my favorite. My legs are my favorite body part and my core is the toughest to lean down so naturally I feel like I could work on these forever.
If you want to lean your legs down there’s no magic to it. There’s no such thing as spot reduction. All you can do is build muscle by body weight exercise and lifting, and do cardio to simultaneously lose body fat. Selena Gomez’s “Come & Get It” (which just won the VMA for best pop video last night!) will surely get you moving and well on your way to the gams you’ve always wanted!
Note: If you don’t have access to the gym feel free to do weightless step-ups/lunges, and incorporate a 1:00 min wall sit instead of lying leg curls.
