Music Monday: Cardio Circuit with Flo Rida

The temperature is dropping and snow is becoming a regular thing in the five-day weather forecast. It’s almost like the world is against us getting up and hitting the gym today. Monday’s aren’t always the easiest day of the week, but I promise if you get your tush to the gym, today will be the most rewarding part of your week by far. Get your gym sneakers on as fast as you can and get yourself through the gym doors before you can convince yourself to get back in bed instead. After all, half the battle is getting there. Facing the cold sucks, the rest of the workout isn’t SO bad.

This week’s edition of Music Monday is an awesome cardio circuit that will wake you up and get your body ready to face the upcoming week.Although this workout is short, is has great moves to get your heart beat up and get you ready for your workout. I like to use this circuit as a warm up, and as a cool down. Try completing the workout once before you start your actual workout, and once at the end as a way of finishing your gym session with a bang.

If you’re doing a strength training workout, this Music Monday is a nice addition. You can do it in between reps of an exercise or use it as an H.I.I.T. circuit just to get your blood pumping. The song for this week is “How I Feel” by Flo Rida. His songs are always high energy and make you want to get up and dance. The song isn’t super long so be sure to push yourself all the way through the workout. As always, good luck!
