Music Monday: Butt Buster Workout With Ellie Goulding

Rise and shine ladies and gentlemen! It’s that time of the week again…yep it’s Monday and it’s time to get your butt out of bed, into gym clothes, and into the gym. I know, the last thing you want to do is get out from under the covers and go to the gym. This is especially the case if you happen to be in the midst of finals. Sorry, ladies! I promise that after this workout you will feel fantastic about yourself and want to wake up for the gym every morning (okay maybe not every morning, but you’ll realize that early morning gym sessions are okay). You might even feel energized enough to study… Shocker, I know!

Remember, working out early in the morning to get the body you want is NOT the enemy. No, the enemy is cake. And cookies. And pizza. Actually, all of those things are not the enemy. Overindulging, stress eating, etc. is! Learn to have everything in moderation.  You can enjoy all of your favorite foods in moderation as long as you balance it out with good food  the other 80% of the time and  by keeping up with your workouts.

This week’s edition of Music Monday will help you tone your tush just in time for beach season. Not ready for bathing suits? Not to worry- this week’s workout will have you lunging and squatting your way to a firm, toned butt just in time for memorial day weekend! The song for this week’s workout is a fast-paced, upbeat song that will motivate you to push yourself to the limit. Ellie Goulding‘s song “Goodness Gracious (Chainsmokers Extended Remix)” is an awesome song to wake up to and will help you get excited, even if it is happening at 5:00am on Monday morning. Make sure to keep proper form while squatting and really try to push through the workout, the more it burns the more accomplished you’ll feel when it’s over!
