We all know about the importance of eating our greens, but it’s also important to drink ’em! If you’re not a fan of green smoothies, but really want to get on board with this health craze, we’re here to help.
In the video above, HGTV’s Meg Allan Cole and Marianne Canada are showing you how to make two healthy green smoothie recipes that are actually delicious.
NOTE: You’ll want to work with green baby spinach, so you’ll have a smooth texture.
For your first smoothie, you’ll need: one frozen banana, one cup of strawberries and half a cup of coconut water. This will give you a pink layer that will sit below your green layer. For your green layer, you’ll need: one cup of spinach, 1/2 cup of frozen banana, 1/4 cup of pomegranate seeds and 1/4 cup of coconut water. Once that’s blended, you’ll add it to the top of your pink layer! Delish.
For the second smoothie, you’ll need: a handful of spinach, a frozen banana, 1/2 of an avocado, one cup of almond milk, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon. You’ll blend that all together, and that’s it!
Both of the smoothies look super yummy. We actually cannot wait to try them!
