A lot of us reject Chris Brown for his past events with his fist, but his clubby tunes keep topping the Billboard Hot 100 list so it is hard to phase the controversial R & B star completely out of our lives. The upbeat dance anthem “Don’t Wake Me Up” was originally written for Madonna, but we are glad to have the song on our gym playlist from whoever is singing the catchy tune.
The repetitive syllables and chorus is always a match for a good workout. Although the lyrics aren’t remarkable, it is easy to get lost in the simple rhythm that the song offers making it a quite addictive track. It infuses a sophisticated, romantic vibe with acoustics and pianos with a club-like chorus making the song calming yet energizing.
What’s that? Perfect for a cardio and strength training workout you say?
