Back in the school groove with your kiddos? Hard to believe that school has been in session for about a month…just in time for flu season to kick in.

Many schools that are facing funding shortfalls on school nurses are trying a new model to care for your children during the day: school-based health centers. The goal is to care for the students and their rising health issues giving an avenue for sick care, exams and vaccinations right at school.

Today’s breakfast idea keeps the kids in mind. Although I can’t say that I wouldn’t happily gobble these Banana Bread Bites from Cleverly Inspired up myself. Serve with a little bit of peanut butter to have a high-protein, filling breakfast before you hit up the school bus.
