This year was super successful on the workout front. I don’t know if it’s from eating a little bit too much peanut butter or from keeping up with my daily squat routine, but I must admit my butt is looking better than ever. There were some awesome Music Monday Workouts I highly suggest you check out. Now that the holiday season is in full swing, we all need to work on being in our best shape for that New Years Eve dress you’ve been waiting all year to wear. Check out our favorite Music Monday Workouts of 2013, they never go out of style so you can follow these easy workouts all year round!
Warm Up With Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding
“Need Your Love” by Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding was a huge hit this summer. This song is perfect for the beginning of your workout because it gets you in the mood to workout and serves as great pump up motivation. We paired this song with an awesome warm up workout to get your workout off to the right start.
Ab Burner to “Roar” by Katy Perry
“Roar” by Katy Perry is a great song to workout to because it’s fun and upbeat and makes you want to get up and sing. This song went perfectly with our ab burner workout and could easily be paired with a sprinting circuit on a treadmill as well.
Sculpted Arms to “Applause” by Lady Gaga
“Applause” by Lady Gaga is probably one of my favorite songs. It’s so catchy and fun to listen to (I’ll admit I play it on repeat for hours sometimes- don’t judge me). Our killer arm workout pairs perfectly with this song because it’s upbeat and will help you power through those near-impossible bicep curls.
Core Challenge to “What Does The Fox Say?”
This song went viral, so naturally we made a Music Monday Workout with it. Blogilates made a squat challenge incorporating this trendy song, so we thought we’d go ahead and give you a nice core challenge to offset the pain you’re probably feeling in your thighs and glutes.
Cardio Blast With Chris Brown
Not everyone is the biggest fan of Chris Brown, and that’s fine. But this song definitely makes me want to get up and dance. It was perfect for our cardio blast workout because the song is upbeat and gets you up and moving.
Perfect Legs With Robin Thicke
This song was great for our perfect legs workout. It is fun to sing along to and serves as great motivation during any workout. This song is also great to warm up to or jog to.
Total Arm Workout With Icona Pop
This song was a huge hit in the fall and I still listen to it almost every day when I workout. The strong beat in the background sets a really great pace for our total arm workout. You could also run to this song or use it as a good song to do crunches to.
Power Up With Britney Spears
“Work B**ch” by Britney Spears serves as a great motivational workout song. Push yourself to the limit with Britney and this awesome high intensity workout we put together designed to get you sweating and ready for the rest of your workout.
Sculpted Glutes With Eminem and Rihanna
“The Monster” by Eminem and Rihanna serves as a great workout song. It makes you want to get up and do something. We paired this awesome song with our sculpted glutes workout. Squat your way to a perfect bum with Eminem and Rihanna.
Arm Workout With Cash Cash
There is something about this song that makes me so happy. It’s light and upbeat and puts me in a great mood for my workout. It pairs perfectly with our arm workout because it’s fun and easy to listen to.
