The Reebok CrossFit Games took place this past weekend, and the athleticism displayed by all of the competing men and women was simply amazing – so incredibly awesome that it makes us want to incorporate CrossFit into our regular workout routine! But the notion of starting an activity as intense as CrossFit can be slightly intimidating.
CrossFit is a fitness system created by Greg Glassman that incorporates many different elements of various sports and other physical activity-inspired movements into a training program that increases physical fitness in a quantifiable way. The combination of high intensity and varied movements is the key to the success behind this fitness phenomenon that has recently become more and more popular. And it’s no wonder that it has given its propensity for delivering incredible results in terms of strength, speed, endurance, and other areas of physical fitness.
