Do you know the Muffin Man? We suggest you get to know him…or at least get to know your muffin tin.
We use baking sheets and baking pans, pots, plates and bowls, but our muffin tin collects a lot of dust. It wasn’t until recently we realized all of the perfectly portioned meals that we could create using the baking tool we saved only for birthday cupcakes.
Cooking in a muffin tin feeds our obsession for all things miniature. Baby corn, miniature containers of Vaseline (that hardly fit a pinky finger but had to be purchased anyway), miniature horses—we will take one of each. And one of each of these mini recipes of our favorite meals.

Are you going to start using a muffin tin for your recipes? Which one of these eats are you most excited about?
I’m always reducing recipes since I lie alone, so a lot if things that should be in bigger pans do make their way into muffin cups. I have individual silicone ones so I don’t have to haul out the whole pan, and since I got into cocktail-ing and mixology I confess I’ve been using them to make giant ice cubes a lot. It makes such a difference in terms of not diluting a drink!
OMG mini thanksgiving!!!! I need to eat those every day because Thanksgiving is my FAVORITE holiday! ha ha. I also really need to try egg muffins 😉
