Meet Madeline—the beauty and brains behind Food, Fitness & Family. There is a lot to love about her blog, but we can’t get enough of the daily tips for living a healthy lifestyle straight from the busy mom’s mouth. You can expect to find healthy recipes (one of our all-time favorites: buffalo chicken stuffed mushrooms), fun ways to switch up your workouts like these upper body blasts and lots of pictures of her adorable baby…which might be our favorite part!
Here is an inside look to the life o’ Madeline:
Fruit fanatic or veggie lover: Definitely a fruit fanatic!
Favorite mode of fitness transportation: I would have to say the treadmill. The ‘mill and I get pretty close during half marathon training.
What is always in your gym bag? I always have Polar FT40 heart rate monitor, Yurbuds, Simple face wipes, and L’Oreal BB Cream. I can’t forget my GNC Total Lean protein powder either for post-workout nutrition.
Do you prefer solo or group workouts? Why? I like a blend of both. I do CrossFit in a class setting 2 days a week which fuels my competition factor and pushes me harder. I also love practicing yoga in a studio with other yogis. Running I almost prefer to do solo because I tend to get lost in my thoughts.
If you could eat one thing every day what would it be? Pizza. Hands down. I LOVE pizza!
Dream healthy getaway: Hmm this is a toughy … I would have to say an adventure vacation to Costa Rica. There is white water rafting, zip-lining, and surfing! Plus there is yoga on the beach. Sounds perfect to me.
