Daily Bite [Say]: Nothing is Impossible says Muhammad Ali

Impossible Quote via Muhammad Ali

When it comes to a sports figure we really look up to Muhammad Ali is at the top of our list.

If Ali didn’t become the greatest professional boxer he might have made it big as a writer.

We idolize a lot of his very wise words. Like this one:

impossible is not a declaration

In a world full of billions upon billions of people it is hard to believe that little ‘ol you can make a difference in the world, but we strongly encourage you not to think this way. Saying something is “impossible” is a word scapegoat that will hold you back from being the very best you can be.

Overcome self-doubt by:

  • Comparing your accomplishments only to your own. Playing the compare game to your co-workers, friends and beyond does more harm than good and will only make you feel inadequate. You are on your own journey.
  • Forgetting about what everyone else is thinking of you. Seriously, that is a lot of baggage to carry around with you all the time. Worrying about what others think will hold you back from what you have stewing inside of yourself.
  • Making a gut decision…and correcting the course if you need to. Decision-making can be hard, but learn to go with your gut and fine tune it along the way.

Ultimately you are the one that can define what is impossible which means that nothing has to be!

How do you conquer the word impossible? Share your thoughts below.

  1. Thanks for the article. I’m also frequently guilty of playing the compare game, especially as I’m nearing 30! At least as I’m getting older I’m starting to worry less and less what other people think of me. And learning to trust my instincts.
