8 Easy Ways to Improve a Bad Mood

Did that lunch meeting push you over the edge? Cloudy day have you in a grim mood?

  1. Soak up the Sun: Basking in the warm rays for a few minutes will get your feel-good hormone rolling. Now, if only we could transport to the beach.
  2. Touch your Toes: Not a joke…when you lift yourself back up you will be in a better mood! Lots of people store tension in their hip joints so relieving some pressure off your body will have an impact on your mind.
  3. Rethink what is Bad: Yes, deleting your work is a major buzz kill, but not near as awful as someone stealing your purse or getting your foot run over by a taxi. Think to yourself: are things really “that bad” and your mood is sure to move out of the miserable category.

  1. Those are all excellent fixes to boost your mood. Red wine works for me. Of course, red wine in a hot bath with the sun streaming through the window will really lift my spirits!
