Music while Exercising

Studies have shown that listening to music can be very beneficial to strengthening the bond between your mind and body. Your focus is on the tunes instead of any emotional hardships or stress. The calming factor of music leads to reduced stress, depression, risk of illness and even reduced sensations of pain. Keep your favorite songs on your smartphone, iPod or car stereo so you can listen in when you feel tension starting to rise.   1. I don’t typically listen to music when I work out because I love working out in silence and I hate thinking when a song is over “aw man, only three minutes went by”… BUT SOMETIMES when I do listen to music, man, it jazzes me up and I am revved to go! So it’s kind of a hit or miss for me! LOL
