Waking up for your Monday morning workout is no easy task. After a long weekend of eating, sleeping, drinking, and relaxing, the hardest thing to do is get out of bed on Monday morning. Your alarm goes off and it’s still dark outside, that is the single worst feeling in the entire world. What if I told you I could make your Monday morning workouts just a little more bearable? Maybe even…fun! Okay, now before you jump straight to calling me a liar, give me a shot.
Thanks to Music Monday workout plans, working out (even on a Monday) doesn’t have to be so miserable. Music Monday pairs a hit song with a short killer workout that is designed to wake you up and get your week off to the right start. Whether the Music Monday of the week is a leg workout, cardio circuit, or ab burner, these workouts are meant to be short enough to endure early on a Monday morning but long enough to feel a burn and maybe sweat a little. If you’re feeling adventurous you can try doing a few Music Monday workouts back-to-back or try doing the same one a few times through.
This week’s Music Monday workout is an arm circuit that combines a few short exercises to really work out your triceps, biceps, and shoulders. Simple moves like pushups, burpees, and bicep curls can really help tone and strengthen your arms. Try completing this circuit at least two or three times a week to maximize results and get rid of that horrible under arm flab. The song of the week is “Counting Stars” by One Republic. It’s fun to sing along to and has a great beat to work out to. I always listen to this song while I run because it’s uplighting and motivational.
