Waking up and starting your day on a Monday may not be easy, and getting yourself to the gym may seem near impossible. Luckily, we’ve come up with a way to makes Monday’s a little more enjoyable. Music Monday is designed to help you get motivated and ready to start your week off the right way- with a workout! Even if your session at the gym isn’t a long one, you’ll feel great after getting your heart rate up and will be ready to face the work week.
This week’s edition of Music Monday is an awesome leg workout to “Timber” by Pitbull and Ke$ha. This circuit is only a few minutes long but you will really feel the burn. Squats and lunges are two moves you can do almost anywhere. Both of these moves will help tone your legs and your butt, two target areas for many people. Along with these moves, squat jumps, burpees, and jumping jacks will get your heart rate up and help you burn calories and break a sweat.
This workout is only three minutes long so really try to push yourself. If you complete this workout circuit in addition to cardio and other strength building exercises, you will really see results. Pitbull and Ke$ha will be there motivating you every step of the way. “Timber” is a great song to workout to. It’s upbeat and fun to sing along to and will keep your mind off the workout. When squatting, make sure to keep your form perfect. Your knees should never pass over your toes and you should keep your back flat and your chest up.
