It’s no secret- everyone wishes they had a better butt. More round, less large, perkier, smaller, tighter — whatever the case, we all think about our backside and wish it looked different than it does. What most people fail to realize though, is that fixing the junk in your trunk can be easier than you’d ever imagine. Squats and lunges are two of the most underrated exercises out there today. Not only are they relatively easy to do, but you can do them anywhere at anytime, no exceptions. Sure, they require no fancy machines or dumbbells or ankle sandbags, but they are super effective and can truly be your best friend. Squats, when done correctly can help you tone and tighten your thighs and glutes.
The key to a good squat is having the proper form. Your back should always be straight, not rounded, and your knees should never go beyond your toes. Lunges are no different, when you do them the right way they work wonders on your legs and butt. Walking uphill is another great way to help achieve killer calves and a tight butt. Try walking outside uphill or on the treadmill at an incline for thirty minutes three times each week and you will definitely start to notice some changes.
For this week’s edition of Music Monday, we’ve designed a butt-busting exercise circuit to help you tone and tighten while really feeling the burn. It’s no coincidence we’re pairing this workout with a track by Jennifer Lopez. With a body that could kill, she’s sure to provide awesome motivation. “Live it Up” by J.Lo ft. Pitbull, is one of favorite workout songs this week providing you with an upbeat, motivating tune to help you power through your workout. Try adding our butt-busting workout to your routine three of four times each week and we promise you’ll be feeling booty-ful by the end of the month.
