Music Monday: Ab Burner with Imagine Dragons

As much as we all hate it, it’s Monday again and you know what that means- the weekend is over and it’s back to the real world. Yep, that means the gym and work. I know, I know, nobody wants to wake up after a weekend of being lazy and eating cake (or am I the only one that did that all weekend…) and get ready for the gym. Some days it’s hard enough to get up out of bed to brush my teeth let alone get myself into yoga pants and to the gym. Thanks to Music Monday Workouts, the gym doesn’t feel like such a treacherous, torturous, awful, scary place on Mondays anymore.

This week’s music monday workout is an awesome ab workout that incorporates getting your heart rate up with focusing on your core muscle group resulting in a short, high intensity workout circuit you can complete just about anywhere (except maybe in the shower or on an airplane). This workout combines jumping jacks, burpees, mountain climber, crunches, and other great exercises to help target and tone your tummy while giving you a little cardio at the same time. Try repeating the circuit three times full for best results and always remember to push yourself. The more it burns, the harder your body is working. It’s almost bathing suit season, will you be ready?

The song for this week’s workout is “On Top Of The World” by Imagine Dragons and I promise after this workout you will be feeling on top of the world. This song is lively and upbeat and super fun to listen to while you break a sweat first thing in the morning.
