After stuffing yourself with holiday favorites like mashed potatoes, stuffing and all kinds of desserts you maybe thinking its time for a detox. Stay away from any detox program that doesn’t allow you to eat healthy balanced meals or drink enough water. To get your body back on track proper portions of  eat lean meats, plenty of fruits and vegetables, and drink plenty of water. Another part of detoxing is getting an adequate amount of sleep so your body can really repair itself. Also try to start a new workout routine at the beginning of your detox so you’ll be even more motivated.

  1. Every day of my life is a detox- it’s called eating healthy, unprocessed foods! Lots of veggies, healthy fats like fish and coconut oil, and lots of water to wash it all down! 🙂 No need to “kill yourself” by juice fasting! That doesn’t work!

  2. I’ve never tried a detox because I think that sets people up for failure. I do try and always drink a ton of water and eat extra fruits and veggies, and maybe take an extra walk when I can so I don’t worry about days that turn out less balanced.
