Don’t be afraid to indulge in healthy soups this winter. Avoid cream soups Puree, cream, and bisque soups contain more calories and fat so they make good meals, not snacks. However, non-cream based soups are low in calories and contain more nutrients than you average snack. Vegetable soup, chicken noodle soup, egg drop soup and minestrone soup make a great addition to any winter to meal. Soup is easy to make and if you prepare alot you can always freeze it and eat it later.
What is your favorite kind of soup?
