Dance Party Workout: Burn Calories & Have Fun Doing It

If you’re looking for a workout that won’t bore you to tears this video might just be the answer for you. It’s a fantastic way to let loose and burn calories.

Taking a look at the Pop Sugar video above, you can totally follow the 30 minute routine early in the mornings to instantly wake you up. And you can do it in your PJs, too! It combines a stellar, heart-pumping warm-up, strengthening lunges, stability exercises and a great cool down.

Bonus: If you’re easily bored by the machines at the gym like the treadmill or the elliptical, this is your next best option. As a cardiovascular dance-based workout, this routine burns calories and builds endurance – which might just help you run longer and endure harder workouts in and out of the gym. Before you know it, the huffing and puffing will only be but a distant memory.

My best suggestion would be to perform this routine in your regimen 2-3 times a week and switch it up with other kinds of workouts. For example, you can perform this 30 minute routine on 3 mornings and follow it up with 30 minutes of strength training. On one day you can do an at-home upper body workout right after, a leg workout on another day and top it all off with an ab workout on the final day.

That being said, even if you can’t fit in a full hour of exercise, this 30 minute dance cardio workout will surely make it easier to fit into busier schedules.

Switch it up however you like, but if your cardio routine is boring you, here’s a great video you can follow from your very own home.
