Often we ignore them because we are blinded by fads like “the quickest way to get tight abs” or “buy this heart monitor now to get the most out of your workout.” There are plenty of exercise misconceptions that may be impacting your workouts.

    I saw this infograph the other day and it’s completely on point. I especially love the tip about the protein shake – I hate when people down one of those after their work out, the only time it’s needed is if you’re in a bind, like the graph says, or if you’re a huge body builder, but a majority of the time people down them after their 30 minute walk on the treadmill.
