Ever wish you had a friend who was a dietitian? With Lindsay from The Lean Green Bean you do! Lindsay shares her experiences in healthy living on her blog and she is so relatable and wonderful that you feel like you have a budding virtual friendship.

From her weekly eats (which include delectable dishes like healthy ice cream sandwiches and lentil mac and cheese) to her exercise endeavors, you get a peek of what Lindsay’s healthy lifestyle is like—and obviously get inspired to adopt some of her habits yourself! In true Bite Size Wellness fashion, Lindsay makes her healthy lifestyle seem simple because it is just a part of who she is.

Another thing we love about Lindsay, she is well-versed in the wellness web and shares a weekly series called Bean Bytes with tons of great health-focused articles and advice from the web. The Lean Green Bean is a one-stop shop for tons of health information!

We got the chance to pick her brain on more details of her healthy lifestyle and here is what we found out:

An unusual kitchen item everyone should have: Mini Food Processor. It’s so convenient to not have to pull out the giant one all the time. I use mine to make nut butter, banana froyo, energy balls and more!

Best solo meal to make and why: Giant salad topped with a veggie burger. I always have veggies on hand, and I usually make extra black bean burgers and freeze them so all I have to do is pull one out and defrost it!

Most memorable healthy lifestyle moment: Every.single.time someone tells me I inspired them to make a healthy meal, spend time prepping healthy food or get a workout it. It never gets old!!!

What would you say to someone that says that says cooking healthy is hard? It doesn’t have to be. Spend an hour in the kitchen on Sunday and you can prep all the basics you need to make quick, healthy meals during the week.

Trendy fitness classes—yay or nay? Only if you like them! If it sounds like something you might enjoy, give it a try…but don’t do it just because everyone else is.

What is your fitness machine of choice? None! You definitely don’t need machines to get in a killer workout!
