The latest celebrity beauty trend is quite electrifying. Time to get spa-spooky for Halloween (and beyond).
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Kyle Richards recently tweeted out a picture of her doing what only celebs have access to: an electric facial. We are just hoping that it is less painful than it looks.
The 70-minute treatment uses electrical current to deliver water-soluble solution to the skin. The electro-stimulation keeps the face muscles plump and active. Some doctors would say that this is a healthier solution for your skin instead of injecting neurotoxins such as Botox into the face for wrinkle prevention.
This may be another procedure that celebrities are lapping up but Richards isn’t the only fan. Madonna, Kate Winslet and Uma Thurman have all been known to use the mild electrical currents as part of their beauty routine.
We may be sticking to the classic, all-natural avocado facial for now. But the Frankenstein-esque procedure must have its perks if the 43-year-old reality star can keep such a youthful look.
