This Thursday is National Whiskey Sour day, which normally would sound like a whole lotta fun and a whole lotta unhealthiness, but that ends today. Put down the store-bought, overly processed and sweetened sour mix, and get ready to make a healthier, naturally sweetened (and honestly, much tastier) version of the popular drink, so you can celebrate in true BSW style. This recipe from A Couple Cooks uses your favorite whiskey and all natural ingredients so you can sip without the guilt.

Makes: 2 medium drinks
What You Need
- 3 tablespoons whiskey (we’re cooks, not bartenders, so we’re using standard measurements here…) (also equivalent to one shot)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice (from 1 lemon)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons water (more or less to taste)
- Ice
What To Do
- Juice the lemon. Mix the whiskey, lemon juice, honey, and water.
- Stir or shake until honey is dissolved. Serve over lots of ice. Adjust whiskey to taste.
