Next time you are on the treadmill, keep in mind that you can’t believe exactly what the screen is showing you. You may find the calorie count to be helpful, but remember that the amount you are burning depends on age, gender, fitness level and body mass index. The calories that you are actually working off may be more or less than what the machine says. Pay the most attention to the mile and time count instead!
