One of the key things to cooking healthier is using a lot of different flavors, since it will help you cut back on using mass amounts of salt and other not-so-good for you food additives. But what’s the point of swapping butter and salt for other herbs and spices when said herbs and spices are tasting a little lackluster? This is where proper storage of your spices comes in — leaving them out in the heat, light, and humidity is detrimental to their flavor, so be sure to keep your space rack in a cool, dark place!
