5 Hot Fitness Fashion Brands We Love

It may come as a surprise, but there are other brands to wear during your sweat session that aren’t Lululemon and Nike. We do adore these brands, of course, but it doesn’t hurt to bring a style change into your gym only wardrobe.

Be a fitness fashion trendsetter by filling your closet with these hot new brands that you can spin, squat and om in.

1. YOGASMOGA

There is something extra special about the YOGASMOGA brand and it is hidden in the fabric. The foundation of their gear is made of Aurum—a blend of Supplex and Lycra—that gives you far superior garb and lasts much longer than most workout clothing. They have a slew of clothing that can be worn from your mat to the grocery store. The super fitting (yes, my butt looks good) pants will be a staple in your wardrobe beyond the gym. They also have some fab fitness accessories like YogaFlops. Something many of us don’t consider when we are handing over our credit card for a new sports bra is where our product came from. At YOGASMOGA all of the fabrics are spun in a mill that is committed to lessening its carbon footprint leaving us with enlightened fitness gear.

2. Pheel

High fashion meets high performance with the Pheel Fitness Apparel. Pheel is fashionable and functional so it meets the demands of an on-the-go fitness enthusiast. There are pants, tops and tanks in all the lengths you desire. We especially have our eye on the Go-2-Pant.  The fabric is on another level. The lightweight, moisture wicking material is imported from Brazil and it is so soft that you will feel like you are wearing clouds. We are kind of obsessed with the feather logo marked on Pheel’s fitness garb because of the symbolism behind it. The feather signifies freedom and lightness—the weightlessness traits one needs to chase after your fitness dreams. Can you pheel it?

3. Theory 38

Theory is the latest fashion brand to break into the fitness world. There is a collection of fitness pieces fits right in to a Theory addict. There are loose capris and mesh knit sweat shirts which, let’s be real, can easily fit into your day time wardrobe even though it is meant for the gym. You’ll feel sophisticated when you conquer kickboxing in this garb.

4. MooMotion

Finally a fitness line that is specifically for the triathlete inside all of us. Founded in 2012 by Parsons School of Design, Melissa Moo created a line based on her experience as a marathoner. (PS her and her husband got married at the finish line of the Lake Placid Ironman in 2010, how cool is that?!) MooMotion is a female-focused functional active wear will keep you looking stylish through land and water. Her line is still growing but in the meantime we will happily take the Melika Tri jersey and shorts!

5. Colosseum

The fitness-fashionista within you can easily come out to play with Colosseum, a fitness brand who strives to have your workout garb move seamlessly from you workout to your everyday life. The brand has decades of experience working in the collegiate arena and recently decided to step into fitness. We are glad they did with their affordable price points and fashionable designs created with the help of celebrity fitness trainer Ashley Borden. Check out the Look Book for what is to come from Colosseum.

What do you think of these fitness fashion brands? What is your favorite place to shop for fitness gear?

Fitness Fashion is all the rage now. I like to think of fitness in one way and fashion in another but when the two come together it’s truly unique. Check out the design elements from the runway seen in Turn It On Fitness by Project Runway designer Althea Harper. Don’t see these in any other brands! Love it and thanks for the great blog.
