Iron is an important mineral to the body, but most people are deficient in it. This mineral helps the blood bring oxygen to the lungs and helps enzymes digest your food properly. Worried that you might be lacking iron in your diet? The most common signs of iron deficiency are feeling weak, an inflamed tongue, and feeling cold. You can easily incorporate more iron into your diet by eating foods like beef, halibut, chicken liver, clams, mussels, and tofu.     You should really eat leafy greens with LEMON in order to absorb MORE iron – otherwise these leafy greens along with some other foods have Oxalates – And these OXALATES = prevent iron absorption!
