January is National Oatmeal Month (despite there already being a National Oatmeal Day). For people like me who love oatmeal, it’s not surprising that a month would be dedicated to this staple breakfast food. Not only does oatmeal taste delicious, but it has a long list of health benefits and can be enjoyed in many different ways. Starting or ending the day with oatmeal will keep your stomach full and, since it can be made hundreds of different ways, you won’t get bored. Let’s look at some favorite oatmeal dishes and get started on celebrating oatmeal!

Let’s start with breakfast. Just because November has passed doesn’t mean we have to stop eating pumpkin.   1. The Oatmeal Lemon Herb Chicken is the one that really interests me. I’ve never thought about using oatmeal as breading for chicken. I think I’m going to try this. Oatmeal is one of those all purpose natural products. You make a simple paste for a facial. It is great for the skin.
