Music Monday: Some Nights Full Body Blast by fun.

Not sure why fun.’s latest song Some Nights has been a sleeper hit. It has spent nearly 7 months on the Billboard Hot 100 list before reaching its peak of number 3 just last week making it fun.’s second single to enter the chart’s top ten. The bold and catchy single is worthy of being noticed.

Some Nights has a combination of influences to make it a powerful pop song ranging from Queen to Paul Simon. The song starts with a wave of gospel choir voices and immediately your ears are alert. Band members Nate Ruess, Andrew Dost and Jack Antonoff are true stars singing their heart out to these emotional lyrics.

The indie pop song is one of those songs that you want to sing in the shower and bop your foot to during your morning commute. The ooh-oh-oohs are perfect for a full body workout.
