Daily Bite [Make]: Citrus and Rosemary Iced Tea

Citrus and Rosemary Iced Tea for Summer

Iced tea is the official hot weather drink. Seems right that today is the official Iced Tea Day.

Although we love a cup of plain iced black or green tea, the blank canvas of the summer drink is begging to be manipulated. When we saw this recipe for citrus and rosemary iced tea from Wholepromise we knew that summer was officially in session.

Citrus and Rosemary Iced Tea

Sherilyn laced green tea with rosemary and citrus to create an energizing and refreshing beverage that will help you keep your cool even on the hottest day. You can play with your citrus in this recipe so you could have a whole new flavor experience if you swap lemons for limes or oranges. And, if you are brave enough you could even go with grapefruit!

Oh yes…we will be enjoying this refreshing beverage on a patio very soon.

Here is what you need to make the tea with a twist:

  • 2 tsp green tea in an infuser or 2 green tea bags of your choice
  • 1 orange cut into round slices approx 2 – 3 cm thick + extra for garnish
  • 2 – 3 small sprigs of rosemary
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 – 2 Tbs Honey (adjust to your desired sweetness
  • 750 ml boiling water
