Closet cleaning is not an easy thing to do. It’s so hard for us to part with items we’ve collected over the years, even if we haven’t worn them in years. Sadly, parting with items from your wardrobe is necessary. Not sure what to toss? We’re here to help!
In the video above, you’ll see the number one thing to get rid of is that guilty item. We’re talking about that silly t-shirt your best friend got you just to embarrass you. Or maybe it’s an item that you bought yourself that says something like “JUICY.” Either way, it’s got to go.
Next up: The expensive item you never wear. Sure, it cost a lot of money, but it’s not doing you any good sitting idly in you closet. Consider selling or donating it!
Third: The item you’ll never repair. Listen, if you’re too lazy to get it hemmed or stitched, chances are, it’s not that important to you — toss!
Fourth: The dress that doesn’t fit. Yes, it looked good on you 10 years ago, but now, it’s a big no-no. Don’t feel bad — donate it and then reward yourself with a dress that does fit!
Finally: The silly hat. We all have a bunch of hats in our closets because we think we need them every time we go on vacation, yet we never use them. Again, toss it or donate it!
Ah, don’t you feel the weight lifting already? Remember, an organized home is a happy home!
